We continue to support and invest in our partner training companies!  While growing the group of validated SMS Instructors and course locations, our partners have been busy establishing new venues and opportunities for participants.

Currently, the course is held in 4 countries, with plans later in 2024 to expand to 2 others.

Participants have taken advantage of both the opportunity to earn relevant continuing education credits as well as some earning the coveted Wilderness Medical Society Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) credit hours.

We poll our participants and 100% have stated they would recommend this training to a colleague!  As the course spreads with more opportunities to enroll, we hope you take advantage of this unique and amazing experience.

As of May 1, 700+ participants have gone through the Austere Emergency Care training and over 28,000 continuing education credits have been awarded.

See you at SOMA 2024 from May 14 – 16! Come visit us at Booth #438 for a chance to win this “Hip Monkey” Mystery Ranch fanny pack. Perfect for your medical “bug out” kit!

The Prolonged Field Care Collective has a coffee! Lobo Coffee Company is generously donating a portion of every bag sold to support the PFCC.

“The AEC course has opened my eyes to a more holistic approach to austere and remote medicine and nursing, as well as honing my skills for everyday use. This course is among the best investments any professional or volunteer can make into their own future in emergency medicine.”

“After AEC I feel more confident with treating critically injured patients. The course has also highlighted some capabilities we in the rural ambulance service lack in our toolkit.”
